PhotoScan114.jpg 1977 Short Ears and new baby Short Ears was born during one of the most gawd awful blizzards we had seen. Fortunately, she was born in the corral and Dad saw her before she froze... her momma could not get her cleaned/dried off before everything froze, and momma had given up. In "The Little House", we built a fire in the stove and brought her inside, rubbed her down with tow sacks, and fed her warm cream of wheat. The only ill effect was that the tips of her ears froze.
