The original plan was downloaded from Popular Woodworking (See "External Links" below). I made numerous changes. The plan calls for pocket screw joinery; I used half-blind dovetails for the carcase sides and mortise and tenons on the doors. The plan called for plywood backs, I resawed solid wood to a strong 1/4" with a bead between slats and a ship-lap joint

The plan called for quarter-sawn white oak and oak plywood. That option was not available locally, so I used 'soft' maple. Amarillo Hardwoods was the supplier

I used Glen Huey's wipe on finishing formula. In the past I used mineral sprits instead of turpentine in the formula. Mineral spirits is not quite as stinky, but the turpentine seemed to make the first coat of finish penetrate the wood more. And, the turpentine mix seems to dry faster.
The brass pulls are from Horton Brasses, Inc. H-42 3/4" Semi-Bright
